Festival Overview
Type of FestivalA lottery-drawn festival of Fringe-managed venues featuring drama, comedy, circus, puppetry, dance, cabaret, burlesque, and more. We also have an audio fringe festival for radio plays, storytelling, musicals and other audio art, and a Street Fringe busking program for outdoor performances. We have expanded to two weeks this year.

How Artists are AcceptedWe are uncurated and draw our lineup at random out of a hat.
Audio Fringe is first-come, first served until 24 slots are filled. Busking opportunities come up multiple times a year through Fringe partnerships; once registered, you're in the database to contact for gigs |

Tech InformationWe can support projection, aerial, dance, solo work, puppetry, and much more; most, if not all, our venues have lighting and sound capabilities and comfortable seating. Tech specs vary based on venue; artists can see venue information and indicate their preferences in their application.

Performance ScheduleEach production gets six showtimes throughout the two weekends; please plan to be in Atlanta for the entire festival dates
Fringe provides the venue, paid technicians and front of house staff, a dedicated venue manager, ticketing services, and marketing assistance. |
OtherWe also have a Fringe Audio festival for radio plays, storytelling, musicals, and other audio art. submissions open in march and are first-come, first-serve. Our Critics Panel listens to every show and awards their favorite; a $200 cash prize goes to the winner, as well as nomination to the Signal Awards for a chance at national recognition.
