INDYFRINGE IS AN 11 DAY FESTIVAL HELD IN FIVE VENUES ON MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE IN THE ARTS AND THEATRE DISTRICT OF DOWNTOWN INDIANAPOLIS.

ALL THEATRES ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE CENTRAL FRINGE HUB WHICH INCLUDES A BEER TENT, TICKETING HUB AND INFORMATION CENTER.

​aRTISTS ARE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Benefits of Applying

  • 80 % OF TICKET REVENUE PAID TO ARTISTS WITHIN THREE DAYS OF THE FINISH OF THE FESTIVAL
  • INDYFRINGE DISTRIBUTES 80,000 PRINTED PROGRAMS INSERTED IN THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE FESTIVAL
  • WE HAVE OUR OWN REVIEW AND TWITTER TEAM WITH A DEDICATED WEB PAGE CALLED FRINGE TALKS. 
  • Billeting Situation: INDYFRINGE PROVIDES BILLETING FOR UP TO 6 MEMBERS OF VISITING TROUPES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OR A SHORT DRIVE FROM MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE.
  • Artist Comp Policy: ARTISTS CAN SEE ANY SHOW AT ANY TIME ON A SPACE AVAILABLE BASIS.

Performance Schedule

  • maximum 1 hour run time
  • 1/2 hour load in/load out between shows
  • 5 shows per production for local, national and international
  • 3 shows  available for national and international productions only
