Philadelphia Fringe Festival

The Philadelphia Fringe Festival, presented by FringeArts, is a month-long performing arts celebration taking over Philadelphia in September and boasting hundreds of performances and events by local, national and international artists.

The Philly Fringe utilizes the Open Access BYOVenue model for artists. All registered artists are automatically approved into the festival, and are responsible for securing a venue and self-producing their events. FringeArts offers support through marketing, workshops, one-on one producing consultations, ticket management, and more.

The Philadelphia Fringe merges passionate believers, supporters, storytellers and experimentalists of the arts! With members of all interests/backgrounds: age, race and ethnicity, gender identification, abilities and more. We continue to grow in welcoming all, new and returning, champions of the arts, with over 5,000 first time festival patrons in 2024. We truly believe there’s a show for anyone and everyone!

Artist Information

How Artists are Accepted

Philly Fringe is un-curated, and has no application process. Anyone who registers on Eventotron, books their own venue, and pays our fee of $20, can self-produce their work as part of the festival.

It is at the discretion of the producer. Typical shows are around 75 minutes, with a run of 2-4 performances.
